"It may be years until the day my dreams will match up with my pay"
I want to watch "Norma Rae" with a passion. Just needed to get that out. I hyperlinked that shiz so check out the reviews and whatnot. It's disappointing that I can't find it on ANY illegal steaming site. Booohooo.
YAY! Couture season has started! So far I've only seen half the works but I'm modestly impressed. Honestly, when I think couture, I think (like many others) of over-the-top Galliano that's so amusing to look at. The possibilities are endless (except maybe by the laws of nature). However, this season there seemed to be a lot of refined/accessorised ready-to-wear pieces floating down the runway. Chanel even dared to used boring black flats in a COUTURE show. ABSURD! Hopefully this doesn't mean that the near ready-to-wear collections won't be just a tshirt and jeans. OH LORD HELP THEIR JUICES FLOWWWW!!
In other words, I'm extremely grieved by Heath Ledger's death. Looks like he beat Britney to it. ;(
UPDATE: I just watched the Christian Dior collection, which usually signifies the couture look. Even this collection failed to deliver its true genius. I wish there was another collection like the origami collection!!
THE shoes of next season will be Balenciaga's reflective square platforms. I just KNOW it!

ENOUGH ABOUT FASHION. I'm probably boring my one and only audience. :)
Well I'm so carefree nowadays. Are these the symptoms to Senioritis of am I just being comfortable with my own skin (for once)? I would like to think the latter but it's hard to analyze it yourself with taking into consideration numerous references with an outside source.
Writing thank you cards are .... well, rewarding. I'm glad that I'm finally acknowledging people that built me and molded me into the splendiferous person that I am today. The only hard part is giving it to them.... sigh

tis all. Good luck for the remainder of the week everyone!!
